If any of the following situations arises, please
contact an authorized BAIC dealership as soon
as possible:
●A frontal airbag has been inflated.
●The front of the vehicle (shaded part in the
figure) encounters an accident, but the front
airbag is not inflated.
●The pad part of the steering wheel or the
cover of the front passenger airbag (area shown
by the arrow in the figure) is scratched or
broken or has sustained other damage.
Deployment of the airbag
The front airbags deploy momentarily and apply
a very large force, accompanied by a very loud
sound. The deployed front airbag, together with
the seat belt limiting system, restricts the
distance of movement of the front passenger,
thus reducing the risk of injury to the head and
the trunk.
