Periodic Maintenance Information-Spark Plug, Drive Chain
Spark Plug
Remove spark
plug by using plug
spanner.
Clean spark plug.
Adjust the gaps if
incorrect by
bending outer
electrode carefully.
0.7 to
0.8 mm

Drive Chain
Slackness
Chain top edge
to be kept
between two
marks during
chain slackness
adjustment.
Std. Chain slackness :
20~30 mm
Chain slackness to be adjusted whenever
required.
Std. Chain slackness : 20 ~ 30 mm
Marking on chain adjusters should be
identically positioned on both sides.
Drive chain must be cleaned & lubricated as per
periodic maintenance schedule.
Drive Chain (Non sealed type)
Non sealed type chain should be removed &
cleaned by Nylon brush & Kerosene / diesel in
chain cleaning stand.
It should be lubricated by SAE 90 grade oil.
