Packaging contents
Before unpacking the device, ensure that the packaging is undamaged and contains the following
items:
 2x rechargeable battery,
 2x shortwave radio,
 1x MicroUSB type B cable for charging,
 1x USB power adapter,
 2x lanyard.
Safety rules
Please read the user manual in detail before use. Please also keep it for future reference.
The manual contains rules for the safe use of the device.
WARNING! THE DEVICE MUST NOT BE DISPOSED OF WITH HOUSEHOLD WASTE.
This symbol indicates that this product must not be disposed of with household waste, ac-
cording to the EU and your national law. In order to prevent potential damage to the environ-
ment or health, the used product must be recycled. In accordance with current legislation,
unusable electrical and electronic devices must be collected separately at the designated
facilities for recycling, acting on the basis of applicable environmental standards.
The product described in this manual comply with European directives and it is therefore
CE marked.
Keep the device away from children and unqualified persons. The manufacturer is not liable
for damage caused by improper use.
Using a charger other than the one included may damage the device and even lead to ex-
plosion and injury – it is recommended to use a dedicated charger.
Do not attempt to open the device. Non-expert handling of the fixture may damage it and/or
annul the warranty.
When using regulated power supply, take notice of power voltage that must be 5V to avoid
damages.
High temperatures can shorten the life of the device and warp/melt its plastic elements.
Do not expose the device to sunlight or place it on a heat source for an extended period
of time! Do not store the product in dusty and/or dirty places.
Keep the device dry. Rainwater or damp will corrode electronic circuits.
If you find that the device emits an unusual odor or smoke, immediately unplug it from
the power source, unplug the power cord and then remove the battery. Do not attempt to re-
start the device!
Do not use the device without an antenna!
Do not use the device with a damaged antenna! Contact between a damaged antenna and
skin can lead to burns!
