13.3 Removal of the front cover
The input cover and the lens have to be removed before removing the front cover. See procedures "Removal
of the input cover", page 125, and "Lens removal", page 37.
Necessary tools
7mmflat screw driver.
How to remove the front cover of the projector?
1. Check if the input cover and the lens a re removed.
2. Remov e the rubber dust ring from the lens holder. See the d etail at the right side of image 13-5.
3. Release the captive screw at the middle bottom of the front cover, using a flat screw drive r.

4. Remov e the front cover from the projector doing the following:
a) s tanding in front of the projector, pull the upp er right corner (A) of the front cover toward you until the latch releases,
b) pull the lower right corner (B) of the front cover toward you until the latch r eleases,
c) then move the front co ver away from the projector.
