About this chapter
Read this chapter before installing your Prometheus. It contains important information concerning installation requirements for the
Prometheus, such as minimum and maximum allowed am bient temperature, humidity conditions, required s afety area around the
installed projector, required power net, etc.
Furthermore, careful consideration of things such as image size, a mbient light level, projector placement and type of screen to use
are c ritical t o the optimum use of t he projection system.
Barco provides a guarantee relating to perfect manufacturing as part of the legally stipulated terms of guar-
antee. Observing the s pecification mentioned in this chapter is critical for projector performance. Neglecting
this can result in loss o f warranty.
