4.7 Personnel protective equipment
Wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment when working is required in order
to minimize hazards to the health.
m Always wear the respective protective equipment r
equired for the respective task when
working.
m Observe signs on personal safety in the work area!
Protective work clothes
consists of close-fitting workwear of low tea
r strength, without loose sleeves or
projecting parts. Intended mainly to protect the wearer from moving machine parts.
Do not wear any rings and necklaces.
Protective helmet
for protection from falling and flying
parts.
Safety shoes
for protection from heavy
falling objects.
Safety gloves
to protect hands from friction, abrasions, pu
ncture, prick wounds or deeper injuries
as well as from contact with hot objects.

Protective glasses
to protect the eyes from flying parts and spraying liquids.
