This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will f it in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not f it fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not attempt to alter
this safety feature.
SERVICING OF DOUBLE INSULATED APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of
grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should
a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance
requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be only be qualied
service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical
to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is marked with the words “DOUBLE
INSULATION” or “DOUBLE INSULATED.” The symbol (square within a square) may also be
marked on the appliance.
7. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.
9. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.
10. This curling iron and clip are hot when in use. Do not let eyes and
bare skin touch heated surfaces.
11. Do not place the heated curling iron directly on any surface while it is hot
or plugged in. Use the stand provided.
12. Do not use if hair has been treated with flammable products.
13. Iron will be hot when in use.
14. Do not allow children to use.
15. Do not use iron when you are impaired in any way.
16. Iron must be completely cooled before storing.
17. Do not attempt to touch the surface of the iron, as it is hot and can cause injury, burns or
pain. KEEP AWAY FROM WATER.
