This document is a user manual for the Bebecare Serene Swing, model #037730. It provides instructions for assembly, operation, and maintenance of the swing, along with important safety precautions.
Function Description
The Bebecare Serene Swing is designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for infants from birth up to 9 kg. It features a gentle swinging motion, built-in music, and Bluetooth connectivity for playing custom audio. The swing is not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping and should not replace a cot or bed for a child needing to sleep.

- Power Supply: The swing operates with a transformer providing 5V / 2A.
- Bluetooth: Connects to devices via "AC-46" for audio playback.
- Timer Settings: 10, 15, and 30 minutes. The swing automatically turns off after 90 minutes for power saving.

Assembly

Swing Frame Assembly:
- Insert the top end of the Seat Sliding Tube (with two underside push pins) into the housing at the top of the Seat Frame until secure.
- Insert the bottom end of the Seat Sliding Tube into the housing at the bottom of the Seat Frame until secure.
- Align the Rotating Base semi-circle with the motor pin inside the Swing Base.
- Insert the Seat Assembly into the Swing Base until secure.
- The Seat Frame can be locked in a stationary position by sliding the lever at the front down, or released by sliding it up.

Toy Bar Assembly:
- Align the bottom of the Toy Bar with the housing on top of the Seat.
- Insert the Toy Bar until secure.
- To remove, press the tab at the back of the Toy Bar while pulling it up and away from the Seat Frame.

Powering the Swing:
- Plug the USB power lead into the front right-hand side of the Swing Base.
- Plug the other end of the USB power lead into a suitable power adaptor/transformer and then into a power supply.
Operation
- Power Button: Press to turn the swing on/off.
- Swing Speed Down Button: Press to reduce swing speed.
- Swing Speed Up Button: Press to increase swing speed.
- Timer Button:
- One press sets the timer for 10 minutes.
- Two presses set the timer for 15 minutes.
- Three presses set the timer for 30 minutes.
- The swing will automatically turn off after 90 minutes for power saving.
- Music Button:
- Press once to begin playing built-in music.
- Press a second time to stop playing music.
- Press a third time to change to the next song.
- Volume Up: When music is playing, hold the 'Swing Speed Up' button to increase volume.
- Volume Down: When music is playing, hold the 'Swing Speed Down' button to decrease volume.
Bluetooth Usage
- Turn on Bluetooth on your chosen device.
- Hold down the 'Music' Button on the Swing Base to enter Bluetooth mode.
- Connect to "AC-46".
- Play music from your device through the swing speakers.
- Volume control and song selection are managed through your device.
- Note: To return to playing the swing's built-in music, disconnect the Bluetooth device.
Harness Usage
- Place the child into the swing.
- Place the crotch pad up and between the child's legs.
- Secure the left and right shoulder clips into the waist straps.
- Insert the combined shoulder and waist strap clips into the harness buckle.
- Secure the crotch pad flap down and over the harness buckle.
- Tighten the adjusters on the waist and shoulder straps to ensure the harness is secure.
- To release the harness buckle, push the buckle release button.
- Note: Always adjust the harness when changing the child's seating position.
Adjusting Shoulder Harness Height
- Release the harness buckle and separate the shoulder straps from the waist straps.
- Feed the shoulder straps back through the Seat Insert and Seat Liner.
- Re-insert the shoulder straps through the higher harness adjustment height in the Seat Liner and the Seat Insert.
Adjusting Seat Position
- Rotate the Seat Adjuster to the 'unlocked' position.
- While holding the Seat Adjuster in the 'unlocked' position, slide the Seat assembly up or down to the desired position.
- Rotate the Seat Adjuster to the 'locked' position to secure it.
Removing Seat Insert
- Release the waist and shoulder straps from the harness buckle.
- Feed the crotch strap, waist straps, and shoulder straps back through the Seat Insert and remove the Seat Insert away from the seat.
Removing Seat Liner from Frame
- Locate the Seat Liner zipper on the right-hand side of the Seat.
- Unzip the Seat Liner and remove it from the Frame.
- To re-install, align the Seat Liner zipper with the Frame zipper.
- Completely re-zip to secure.
Removing Seat from Frame
- Locate the seat release tab where the Seat meets the Frame.
- Pull and hold the seat release tab while simultaneously pulling the Seat up and away from the Frame.
Maintenance Features
Cleaning
- Frame: Use a damp cloth to clean the frame. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Allow it to dry completely before storing.
- Fabrics/Trims: Do not dry clean, use bleach, machine wash, tumble dry, or spin dry.
- Seat Liner and Seat Insert: Hand wash separately if required.
General Maintenance
- Regularly check the swing to ensure locking devices and components are secure and working properly.
- Always check screws, nuts, and other fasteners for tightness; tighten or replace if required.
- For safety, seek prompt repairs for bent, torn, worn, or broken parts.
- Only use parts and accessories approved by CNP Brands.

Safety Precautions
- Read all instructions before assembly and use. Retain instructions for future reference.
- Never leave the child unattended.
- Never use the product on an elevated surface (e.g., a table).
- The swing is not intended for prolonged periods of sleeping.
- Always use the restraint system.
- Discontinue use once the child can sit unaided, attempts to climb out, or can roll over.
- Do not let children play with the product.
- Do not move or lift the product with the baby inside it.
- Do not use if any components are broken or missing.
- Transformers must be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts. Do not use if damaged.
- The swing must only be used with a 5V / 2A transformer.
- Ensure all locking equipment is installed well before use.
- Do not use the swing on any rough surface.
- Never use the toy-bar to carry the swing.
- This swing does not replace a cot or a bed. If your child needs to sleep, place them in a suitable cot or bed.
- Only use accessories or replacement parts approved by the manufacturer.
