Elimination of malfunctions
General remarks on eliminating malfunctions:
• Switch off the machine (exceptions: see *)
• Eliminate malfunction
• Switch on the unit
• Notify Service if messages appear repeatedly.
• Have servicing work carried out only by author-
ized BEGO workshops!

Switch off the machine and pull out
the mains plug before eliminating any
malfunctions!
In the case of power connection
without mains plug: remove fuses,
secure machine so it cannot be
switched on again and check that it is
de-energized.
Risk of injury!
• Eliminate malfunctions only when
wearing appropriate protective
equipment!
Malfunction Cause Elimination
No display after the unit is
switched on.
The fuse of the unit is defective. Replace fuses on right side of unit. If
fault occurs again, contact Customer
Service Department.
The mains socket is defective. Check socket.
No display, but acoustic signal
("SOS")
Display defective. Contact customer service.
Lamp next to the button
flashes.
The last set melting operation
takes place.
Duplicate as usual.
Before switching off the unit,
remove old duplicating material.
The mixing motor does not turn
after the unit is switched on and
T1 pressed.
Duplicating material is cold. Wait for material to melt. The motor
only starts when the duplicating mate-
rial reaches approx. 50 °C.
E 1. E 2. E 3 Temperature sensors do not
work.
Contact customer service.
E 4 Rotary sensor defective. Contact customer service.
E 5 Clock defective. Contact customer service.
E 20. E 30. E 31. E 32 Fault in the electronics. Contact customer service.
Message "open" and interrupted
acoustic signal.
Cover is not closed correctly. Close cover and turn so that it is
locked.
