Do you have a question about the Beko EV 6800+ and is the answer not in the manual?
This document provides a comprehensive user manual for the BEKO EV 6800+ Washing Machine, covering its functions, technical specifications, usage, and maintenance.
The BEKO EV 6800+ is a washing machine designed for domestic use, capable of washing and rinsing laundry. It features a variety of programs tailored to different fabric types, soiling levels, and temperatures. The machine includes a detergent drawer with compartments for pre-wash, main wash, and softener, and an automatic load detection system that adjusts water usage based on the laundry amount. Safety features include a loading door lock that prevents opening when water levels are unsuitable and a self-protection mode for supply problems. The machine also incorporates an unbalanced load control system to prevent damage during spinning.
The washing machine offers a user-friendly control panel with a Programme Selection knob, Door open indicator, Programme Follow-up indicator, Start/Pause button, and Spin Speed Adjustment button.
Users can select programs based on fabric type, quantity, and soiling degree. Main programs include:
Pressing the Start/Pause button initiates or pauses a program. The Programme Follow-up indicator shows the program's progress. The loading door locks during operation and can only be opened when the water level is suitable and the "Door Open" light illuminates steadily. Laundry can be added or removed during a pause.
Turn the Programme Selection knob to another program to cancel the current one. The "End/Cancel" light will flash to indicate cancellation.
The "End/Cancel" light illuminates, and the "Door Open" symbol flashes until the door is ready to open. Turn the program selection knob to "On / Off" to switch off the machine.
The machine automatically switches to an energy-saving standby mode if no program is started or no operation is performed for approximately 2 minutes after the machine is turned on or after a program ends. Indicator lights dim, and the display (if equipped) turns off.
Regular maintenance extends the product's service life and reduces common problems.
Clean the detergent drawer every 4-5 washing cycles to prevent powder detergent accumulation. Remove the siphon from the softener compartment and wash the drawer and siphon with lukewarm water.
To prevent unpleasant odors and washing complaints from softener, detergent, and dirt residues, use the Drum Cleaning program or Cotton-90 program. Add max. 100g of powder anti-limescale to the main wash detergent compartment. Dry the bellow inside with a clean cloth. Check for foreign substances in the drum after each wash. If holes on the bellow are blocked, clear them with a toothpick.
Wipe the machine body with soapy water or mild gel detergents and a soft cloth. Use only a soft and damp cloth for the control panel. Avoid abrasive materials.
Filters at the end of each water intake valve and hose prevent foreign substances from entering the machine. Close the taps, remove hose nuts, and clean the filters with a brush. If very dirty, remove filters with pliers and clean under running water.
The pump filter prevents solid items from clogging the pump impeller. If the machine fails to drain, the pump filter is clogged and must be cleaned every 3 months or when clogged. Unplug the machine and allow water to cool before cleaning the filter to avoid burns. Open the filter cover, place a container to catch water, loosen the pump filter, and clean any residues.
The manual provides solutions for common issues such as the program not starting, machine vibrations, foam overflowing, and laundry remaining wet. If problems persist, contact an authorized service agent.
Before transporting, unplug the machine, remove water drain and supply connections, drain all remaining water, and install transportation safety bolts in reverse order of removal. Never move the product without the transportation safety bolts properly fixed.
Packaging materials are recyclable and should be disposed of according to local waste instructions. The product itself contains recyclable materials and should be taken to a collection point for electrical and electronic equipment at the end of its life. For safety, cut the power cable and break the loading door lock before disposal.
