2.15 Control Box Guard
Fit the control box guard in the space above
tightly in the space above the control box
with no fasteners. Bend-Tech recommends
applying silicone around the edges of the
control box guard to help seal out coolant that
may spill onto it.
Also, apply silicone where the beam sections
join above the control box.
2.16 Fill the Reservoir
Fill the reservoir to within six inches of the top with clean coolant. Plug in the water pump.
2.17 Plug Adapter
With the material coolant system complete, choose the appropriate plug adapter for the size
material being processed in the machine. There are two adapters provided with the coolant
system, one for larger plugs and one for smaller plugs.
Choose the appropriate adapter and
connect to the short hose using the cam
lock coupler. After feeding the material
through the gate, insert the plug adapter
inside the material, making sure it seals
to the inside of the material. Feed the
material into the chuck taking care not
to upset the plug seal. Take care not to
damage or kink the hose.
The material coolant system is now
ready for operation.
