Do not start the engine in a com-
pletely enclosed area. Only start
the engine in outdoor environments.
When the engine must be started
indoors, be sure to provide sufcient
ventilation.
CAUTION
Allow the mufer, engine, and other
hot parts to cool before inspecting
or performing maintenance.
Be sure to stop the engine before
inspecting, adjusting, repairing, or
cleaning the machine.
Be sure to stop the engine before
replacing parts or removing grass
caught in rotating parts.
Check regularly that the hydraulic
hoses are securely fastened and free
of damage (hydraulic type ).
When maintenance operations requi-
re disconnecting joints and/or hoses,
release the pressure in the hydraulic
circuit before disconnecting the
joints and/or hoses (hydraulic type ).
Be sure to reinstall any covers remo-
ved during maintenance operations.
