SAFETY WARNINGS
Vehicular transports of all kinds can be dangerous. Please refer to your vehicle manufacturer’s
manual for carrying weight capacity of the roof.
Depending on the make and model of your vehicle, the Best Marine and Outdoors roof pad straps
could prevent your vehicle’s side curtain airbags from deploying in an accident. Use at your own risk.
The are designed for kayaks, canoes, SUP paddle boards, surfboards, skis and snowboards only. Using our
roof pads for other purposes could result in injury or death.
Using the included straps to tie down the kayak rmly and securely is critical.
Any person using the Best Marine and Outdoors roof pads is personally responsible
for properly following the instructions for use and/or installation.
When transporting a kayak with the Best Marine and Outdoors roof pads high speeds,
wind, sharp corners and/or sudden braking can cause the kayak or other object to shift positions
or become dislodged. Periodically checking the security of the roof pads and strap attachments
is critical.
Any person using the Best Marine and Outdoors roof pads accepts full responsibility for any
and all damages or injury of any kind including death, which may result from improper use
and/or installation.
It is very important that you fully understand the instructions provided by Best Marine
and Outdoor, and that the roof pads be installed properly and securely on your vehicle.
You are responsible for securing the roof pads to your vehicle’s roof and periodically inspecting
the roof pads and straps or loosening, adjustment, wear, and damage.
