Secondly, a dirty filter cartridge can cause heating issues, so clean or replace it. Also, ensure the water level is at the specified level. If the thermal cut-out activates, press the reset button on the pump. If none of these steps work, the heating element may have failed.

Unplug the pump and wait for two hours to allow it to cool down, then plug it back in and press the Lay-Z-Massage System button. Also, the Lay-Z-Spa Massage stops automatically, press the Lay-Z-Massage System Button to reactivate.
