This section describes how to export the Switch Configuration for maintenance needs. Any current configuration files will be
exported as text format.
You can download a file from the web browser to all the files on the switch, except for default-config, which is read-only.
Select the file to download, select the destination file on the target, then click .
If the destination is running-config, the file will be applied to the switch configuration. This can be done in two ways:
Replace mode: The current configuration is fully replaced with the configuration in the downloaded file.
Merge mode: The downloaded file is merged into running-config.
If the file system is full (i.e. contains the three system files mentioned above plus two other files), you cannot create new files, but an
existing file must be overwritten or another deleted first.
WEB INTERFACE
To download configuration in the web interface:
1. Click the Browser to select Maintenance/Configuration in you device.
2. Click Download Select.

Parameter description:
Browse: Click the “Browse...” button to search the configuration text file and filename.
Download: Click the “Download” button, then the switch will start to download the configuration from the configuration’s stored
location in the PC or Server.
