3.4 DHCP
The section describes how to configure the switch’s DHCP Snooping parameters. The DHCP Snooping can prevent attackers from
adding their own DHCP servers to the network.
3.4.1 SERVER
3.4.1.1 M O DE
This page configures global mode and VLAN mode to enable/disable a DHCP server per system and per VLAN.
WEB INTERFACE
To configure a DHCP server mode in the web interface:
1. Click Configuration, DHCP, Server, Mode.
2. Select “Enabled” in the Global Mode of DHCP Server Mode Configuration.
3. Add a Vlan range.
4. Click Apply.

Parameter description:
Mode: Configure the operation mode per system. Possible modes are:
- Enabled: Enable DHCP server per system.
- Disabled: Disable DHCP server pre system.
VLAN Range: Indicate the VLAN range in which the DHCP server is enabled or disabled. The first VLAN ID must be smaller than or
equal to the second VLAN ID. But, if the VLAN range contains only 1 VLAN ID, then you can just input it into either one of the first
and second VLAN ID fields or both.
