To chop: PULSE for short bursts, releasing
quickly. Allow the blade to stop running
and the food to fall to the bottom of the
workbowl. This will help mix the contents
without over-processing your ingredients
into a purée.
USING THE S-BLADE/
DOUGH BLADE/ OR
CREAMER ATTACHMENT
Use the S-blade for pulverizing ingredients.
Use the Dough blade to mix ingredients
together.
Use the creamer to thicken cream, to
beat eggs, and to cream eggs and sugar
together.
1. Lower the drive shaft into the bowl
over the spindle.
2. Select the attachment you wish to use
and t it over the drive shaft in the
bottom of the workbowl.
Note: The attachments only t one
direction. Install with the smaller opening
facing up.
3. Put the ingredients into the
workbowl.
4. Hold the workbowl cover with the
feed chute slightly behind the
workbowl handle, set it on the
workbowl, then turn it clockwise, to
lock the tab into the top of the
handle.
5. To add ingredients while the motor is
running, lift the food pusher out of
the feed chute, add the ingredients
through the feed chute then replace
the pusher.
6. To remove the lid, turn it counter-
clockwise to unlock it, then lift it o.
Caution: The S-blade attachment is very
sharp. Use caution when handling and
storing.
Important: Never use your ngers to
direct food through the feed chute.
7. Turn the control dial to a setting (LOW,
HIGH, or PULSE).
Note: Process foods for no more than a
few seconds at a time. Pulsing produces
excellent results and oers greater control.
8. When nished, turn the control dial to
OFF (0).
Important: Make sure the attachment has
completely stopped before removing the
cover or workbowl from the processor.
9. Unplug appliance when not in use.
HELPFUL TIPS FOR
USING THE S-BLADE
The processor works very quickly. Watch
carefully to avoid over-processing foods.
• For best results, process foods that are
about the same size.
The processor will be more ecient if
lled no more than 1/2 to 2/3 full.
When chopping cooked or raw meat, the
food should be very cold. Use no more
than 2 cups of 3/4 inch cubes. Process
using PULSE in 5 second intervals.
• Processing nuts or other hard foods may
scratch the surface nish on the inside of
the bowl.
• Never walk away from the processor while
it is on.
• Use hot, but never boiling liquids.
• The PULSE feature oers the best control.
• Insert a funnel into the feed chute when
adding ingredients such as, oil, our and sugar.
When making bread crumbs, make sure
workbowl is completely dry.
