To change the DRC setting, press MENU button to select DRC option, then
press ENTER button to enter the DRC submenu. Press > or < to select the
available options: DRC off, high, low.
1. DRC off: DRC is switched off.
2. DRC high: DRC is switched on; the default setting recommended for noisy
environment.
3. DRC low: DRC is set to half normal level.
FM operation
FM radio mode receives analogue radio from the FM band (87.5-108MHz)
and display RDS (Radio Data System if available) information about the
station.
1. Fully extend the telescopic antenna, press the MODE button switch to FM
mode.
2. Press and hold the < or > button to auto scan the available station in
downward or upward frequency; it will stop and play the first found
station automatically.
3. Short press < or > button to tune the radio frequency in 50 KHz step for
fine tuning.
4. The unit allows you to store up to 20 FM preset stations. The preset
operation is same way as described in DAB part of this manual.
5. If the reception is too weak and there is noise on the received station, try
to improve the reception by changing the position of the telescopic
antenna, or move the radio next to window for better signal. Switch to
other station for listening.
Now playing information & RDS
1. While FM radio is playing, the screen shows its frequency, or if RDS
information is available, station name and any further 'RadioText'
information. If no information is available, just the frequency and a “No
Radio Text” message is showed.
2. To view further information about the broadcast, press INFO button, the
next set of information will be displayed, cycling through: RDS RadioText,
programme type, frequency, time and date after your press it each time.
Bluetooth operation
The unit includes Bluetooth function which is allow to wireless playback the
audio with other Bluetooth device such as smart mobile phone, laptop PC
etc..
1. Power on the unit, press the MODE button switch to Bluetooth mode. The
“Bluetooth disconnected” text will flare and show on the display which
means the unit is ready for pairing.
