7 Delivery, on-site transport, unpacking
7.1 Safety
DANGER
Risk of death and injury due to improper transportation
◼ Never walk under suspended loads.
◼ Always transport the lifting unit with suitable lifting and transport
equipment (e.g. forklift or crane).
◼ Only use load-carrying equipment (belts, chains, etc.) approved and
tested for the total weight.
◼ Always use existing transport shoes when transporting with a forklift.
7.2 On-site transport
Always transport lifting units with a forklift or crane.
Transport by fork-lift on transport shoes
Insert forklift from behind into the transport shoes and tilt the lifting
unit backwards.
With crane and load handling equipment
Clip hook or sling into eyelet and lift with crane or forklift.
7.3 Unpack
Remove protective packaging and dispose of it properly in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
7.4 Storage
Store the lifting unit at a clean, dry place at 5° - 40° C.
