The COMFORT drive mode is automatically se‐
lected when drive-ready state is switched on.
Drive modes in detail
COMFORT
Principle
Balanced configuration between dynamic and ef‐
ficient driving.
Switching on
Press the button until COMFORT is
displayed in the instrument cluster.
SPORT
Principle
Dynamic configuration for greater agility with an
optimised suspension.
Switching on
Press the button until SPORT is dis‐
played in the instrument cluster.
SPORT INDIVIDUAL
Principle
Individual settings can be made in SPORT INDI‐
VIDUAL drive mode.
Configuring
Via iDrive:
1. "CAR"
2. "Settings"
3. "Driving mode"
4. "SPORT INDIVIDUAL"
5. Select the desired setting.
▷ "Damping"
▷ "Steering"
▷ "Engine"
▷ "Transmission"
▷ Manual gearbox: "Gear Shift Assistant"
When changing down, the engine speed
is adapted for the gear change.
The setting is saved for the current driver profile.
Reset SPORT INDIVIDUAL to default setting:
"Reset to SPORT STANDARD".
SPORT PLUS
Principle
Dynamic configuration for maximum agility with
an adapted drive.
Switching on
Press the button repeatedly until
SPORT is displayed in the instrument
cluster.
ECO PRO
Principle
Efficient driving setting.
