BMW 520D - Toolkit and wiper blades

The toolkit is located in the luggage
compartment lid/tailgate.
To open, undo the wing bolt(s).

Front
1. Raise the wiper arm slightly and hold
it firmly
2. Move the sliding safety catch (arrow)
and take off the wiper blade towards
the windscreen
3. Attach the new wiper blade and slide
the safety catch back.

Rear *
1. Hold the wiper blade against the
glass and pull the wiper arm off/
unclip it (arrow) at the outer pivot
2. Offer up the new wiper blade and
press it against the wiper arm (clip
into position).
Use only BMW-approved wiper
blades.
