Luggage compartment lid/tailgate
Opening from inside the car
With this button, you can open the
luggage compartment lid/tailgate while
the vehicle is stationary, provided it is
not deadlocked.
When the tailgate on the touring is
open, its upper edge is more than
two metres off the ground. Please
remember this, for instance when
opening the tailgate inside a garage.

Rear window touring
It is quick and easy to load and unload
small items if the rear window is
opened separately.
Press the button (arrow): the rear
window opens slightly. It can be swung
upwards.
To close the window, press down on
the glass.
Protect the window if it could be
struck by sharp-pointed or sharp-
edged objects on the load area during
the journey; this is to prevent damage
to the rear-window heating elements.

Closing saloon
A recessed handle (arrow) next to the
lock mechanism makes it easier to pull
the lid down.
