When BMW-approved light alloy wheels
or "VR" radial-ply tires are fitted, always
use tubes with the 40 G D[N 7771 screw-
in metal valve.
W!nter tires:
175 SFl 14 or 195/70 SR 14 tubeless, with
43 GS/11.5 DIN 7780 rubber valve, or with
tube and 40 G DIN 7771 metal screw-in
valve.
Warnlng: When new tires are fitted, al-
ways discard and renew the tubes as well.
The BMW 7 x 14 H2 light alloy wheel (with
10 mm (0.39 in) rim offset) may be used
on your car without affecting the validity
of the documents, and without a letter of
approval from the manufacturer. Since
this alternative specification is included
in the car's General Operating Permit, it
need not necessarily appear Ìn the regis-
tration papers.
