Display in the instrument cluster
When the drive-ready state
is switched on, READY is dis-
played in the instrument cluster.
Combustion engine start
The combustion engine is started under the
following conditions when the drive-ready
state is switched on:
▷ The temperature of the hybrid system is
too high or too low.
▷ The charge state of the high-voltage bat-
tery is insufficient.
▷ The vehicle was parked in SPORT driving
mode shortly beforehand.
Turning off drive-ready state
1.
While the vehicle is stationary, engage se-
lector lever position P and apply the parking
brake.
2. Press the Start/Stop button.
After parking the vehicle, you may hear noises
due to operation of the hybrid system such as
for cooling of the high-voltage battery.
