These general instructions outline the steps to
replace the oil drain load cell. See Figure 3-11.
1. Disconnect the unit from the power source.
2. Remove the oil drain bottle from the load
cell.
3. Remove the oil PAG bottle.
4. Remove the cap nearby the usb ports and
remove the screw.
5. Remove the 8 screws from the front plastic
dashboard and open it in order to access
the control board to disconnect the load
cell cable.
6. Remove the 4 screws securing the load cell
to adapter block (internal side of the panel
and outside the panel, see Figure 3-11).
7. Remove the load cell.
1. Connect the new load cell to the adapter
block and secure in place with screws
(arrow going down see picture).
2. Be sure adapter or load cell don’t toching
the external frame.
3. Connect the load cell wire harness to the
control board.
4. Close and x the front plastic dashboard
with 8 screws.
5. Screw back the screw and place the cap
(see Figure 1-15 in the Maintenance section).
6. Connect the unit to its power source and
turn the unit on. Press the icon.
7. Select the .
8. Enter password and select icon.
9. Select the or arrow key to scroll
to and select icon.
10. Scroll to the load cell requiring calibration
and and select icon.
11. The process of calibrating the load cell
involves two weights. The first is the
unloaded load cell (0.0 grams), the second
is with a weight hanging from the load
cell (500 grams) Pause between each
calibration step to make sure the values are
loaded into the data set.
12. Double check with sample weight of
250 grams is needed to complete calibration
