4 Click on the Connect button.
P The computer is connected to the AMAX panel. The button label changes to Disconnect.
Modem Connection
Telephone Remote Connection
The telephone remote connection function allows establishing a connection from the remote
PC to the AMAX panel through telephone network.
Number of rings, the call back telephone number, and the telephone remote connection
enabled function are set on the AMAX panel. For more information, refer to Communication
Operations Programming, page 109.
1. Run RPS on the remote PC and set relevant parameters in relevant operating interfaces.
2. Select File - Communication Settings.
The Communication Setting dialog box opens.
3. Set the modem related parameters.
4. Click on the Save button.
