Direct Connection
The direct connection function allows establishing a connection from the remote PC to AMAX
panel 4000 via USB to perform remote programming and control.
The remote PC should have installed remote programming software like A-Link Plus. Customer
should install "USB driver" first. This installation will create an additional COM device on the
PC. When finished installation, identify the COM-Port associated to this device.
Start A-Link Plus application and login with customer: admin pw: ADMIN. Select Menu item
File – Communication Settings.
