1. Number of rings (address 0144), callback telephone number (address 0146 - 0161) and
telephone remote connection enabled (address 0145) are set on the alarm control panel.
2. Run RPS on the remote PC and set relevant parameters in relevant operating interfaces.
– a. Go to “File” and click “Communication Settings” to set parameters related to modem
in the communication Settings tab page, then click “Save”.

Modem string settings in figure x.1 are only used, when the default modem string is not used.
If the default modem string should be used, activate parameter “Using the default modem
string” in register “Link” of Customer Information (see figure x.2). In this case the values in
figure x.1 are ignored.
Instead the following string is used: AT&CI&D2X0&Q0S7=255S9=0+MS=B103B17
– b. Click “New Customer” in “Customer” to create customer. Enter relevant customer
information in the “Customer Information” tab page. The “Customer Number” must be
entered. Enter the telephone number connected to the alarm control panel in “Alarm
Control Panel Telephone Number”. The alarm control panel telephone number does not
need to be set for manual connection.
