Mounting and Operation To run the machine
Starting
To start your shredder, rotate the ON/Off knob from position
“0” to position “I”. Then move it to “II” for a second or so and
release it so that it moves back automatically to “I”. The ma-
chine should start.
The shredder will not start if the knob is pushed in while start-
ing. Let it spring back out. Return the knob to “0” and start
again.
If you hold the knob too long in position “II”, the shredder will
stop. Return the knob back to “0” and start again.
As a safety feature, the shredder will not start unless the hop-
per securing knob is fully tightened. (Item X in picture 8)
Stopping
To stop the machine, turn the ON/OFF knob anti-clockwise to
“0”. Alternatively, and in an emergency, simply press the
knob inwards. You will then have to turn the knob to “0” be-
fore you can restart the machine.
