Assembly

Battery Charging

Use only specified chargers. Charge battery fully before first use. ECP protects against deep discharge.

Removing the Battery

Press unlocking button 16 and pull battery rearward. Do not exert force.

Battery Charge-control Indication

Three green LEDs indicate charge condition. Press button 12 to check status. Defective battery has no LEDs lit.

Replacing/Inserting the Saw Blade

Selecting a Saw Blade

Use suitable blades for material. Use only ½" universal shank blades. Ensure blade is not longer than required.

Inserting the Saw Blade

Swing lever 4, slide blade 1 into holder 18, release lever. Check seating.

Dust/Chip Extraction

Operation

Starting Operation

Insert charged battery. Control/preset stroke rate using switch 8 and thumbwheel 7.

Orbital Action Settings

Adjustable orbital action adapts cutting speed to material. Set with rotary switch 6.

Orbital action switched off (level 0)

For thin or hard material. For achieving clean cutting edges.

Pendulum action level 1

For non-ferrous metals, hardwood, plastics, medium density materials.

Pendulum action level 2

For non-ferrous metals, hardwood, plastics, medium density materials.

Pivoting and Retractable Footplate

Adjustable footplate adapts to surface angle. Can be moved in lengthway direction in three steps.

Switching On and Off

Press lock-off button 9, then press On/Off switch 8 to turn on. Release switch 8 to turn off.

Working Advice

Remove battery before maintenance. Keep machine clean. Ensure saw blade is longer than workpiece diameter.

Removing the Saw Blade

Swing lever 4, pull blade 1 out of holder 18, release lever.

Plunge Cutting

Suitable for soft materials only. Use blades max 100mm. Plunge slowly into workpiece.

Flush Cuts

Use elastic bimetal blades. Saw off flush at the wall with lateral pressure.

Utility Hook

Hook for hanging tool. Fold out hook and ensure saw blade is protected.

Coolant/Lubricant

Use coolant/lubricant when sawing metal due to material heating.
