Table 14 — Display of the status of the GNSS test function
EFAS display Meaning
Top row:
GNSS position: YES or NO (x) for the position indicator
Position indicator: 0 ... Position not xed
1 ... GPS xed
2 ... Dierential GPS xed
Position accuracy (5 to 999)
The value indicates the quality of the position determination. Theoretically,
values from 5 to 999 are possible, whereby the following applies: the smaller
the value, the more accurate the position determination. (The value 0 would
therefore - theoretically - not mean any deviation from the actual position).
Bottom row:
GNSS time: DD/MM hh:mm:ss
Right eld:
OK GNSS module works correctly. (Position indicator returns a value greater than
ZERO)
? GNSS module does not work correctly.

10.6.16 DSRC Test (Equipment for remote communication)
The test function can be selected in the CALIBRATION operating mode via the EFAS menu. The test function indicates whether
the remote communication equipment, i.e. the DSRC module, is functioning properly.
1. Select OK g Installation g DSRC Test
2. Browse to the appropriate information using the control buttons and .
3. The function is nished by pressing 9.
The test function displays the following information:

EFAS display Meaning
Top row:
Status of DSRC module
0 There is an internal module error. DSRC module must be replaced.
1 No communication between EFAS and DSRC module available; Please check
CAN connection and setting.
2 DSRC unit self-test is OK
Bottom row:
SN Serial number
Right eld:
OK is displayed if the DSRC module does not show an error; the status must be
displayed with “2”.
? ashes when an error has occurred. The status is displayed with a value <2.

With the EFAS Service Tool the communication on CAN A and CAN C can be
checked.
