6.16.6 Using double battery model with a
single battery only
One of the charging sockets is not accessible or is
sealed with an end cap on pedelecs with two
batteries.

 If you wish to use just one battery on a pedelec
which is designed for two batteries, cover the
contacts in the free slot with the supplied cover
cap (1); otherwise, there is a risk of a short
circuit caused by the open contacts.
6.16.7 Waking the battery

The battery switches to sleep mode to protect
itself when not used for a longer period. The LEDs
on the battery level indicator do not light up.
 Press the On-Off button (battery).
 The charge level indicator (battery) shows the
charge level.
