Switching On and Off
To start the machine, press the On/Off switch 7 and keep it depressed.
The power light 9 lights up when the On/Off switch 7 is halfway or fully de-
pressed, and enables illumination of the screwing location in unfavourable
conditions.
To switch off the machine, release the On/Off switch 7. The lamp slowly
goes out.
Reversing the Rotational Direction
The rotational direction switch 8 is used to reverse the rotational direction of
the machine. However, this is not possible with the On/Off switch 7 actu-
ated.
Right Rotation
Push the rotational direction switch left to the stop (for screwing in
screws). The indicator for right-hand rotation 3 lights up when the
On/Off switch 7 is actuated.
Left Rotation
Push the rotational direction switch right to the stop (loosening or
unscrewing screws). The indicator for left-hand rotation 5 lights up
when the On/Off switch 7 is actuated.
Fully Automatic Spindle Locking (Auto-Lock)
The drill spindle is locked when the On/Off switch 7 is not pressed.
This enables screws to be screwed in, even when the battery is empty and
allows for the machine to be used as a screwdriver.
When the drilling spindle is locked, do not press the On/Off switch 7
for more than 15 seconds. Otherwise the power tool can be damaged.
