4 Click Open to open the set-up file of the
configuration software. A window similar to the one
in figure 2.4 appears. Follow the instructions that are
displayed on screen.
2.4 Connection
The LBB1990/00 Voice Alarm Controller can be
connected to a PC with the supplied USB cable (see
figure 2.5). It is not necessary to switch the voice alarm
controller off.
2.5 Start
Proceed as follows:
1 Go to the desktop of Windows (see figure 2.6 for an
example).
2 Double-click the Plena Voice Alarm System
Configuration icon. A window similar to the one in
figure 2.7 appears.
3 Enter the password in the Enter password field and
click the OK button. A window similar to the one in
figure 2.8 appears.

Note
The configuration software can also be started
without a connection to a voice alarm controller.
For example, to prepare configuration files for a
new system.
