8.5 Self test
The detector performs a routine self-test every 7 hours, testing both the PIR and microwave
Doppler radar circuit. If either technology fails the self-test, the detector indicates a trouble
condition by activating the trouble output and the LED 4 flash pattern.
Notice!
A self-test fail condition indicates that the detector cannot perform as expected. Replace the
detector.
