C.4 READ IDENTIFICATION DATA
To read out the Identification Data the Encapsulated Interface Transport 2Bh/0Eh is implemented
as described in the MODBUS Application Protocol Specification V1.1b. The CIMS Sensor supports
currently only the Individual Access (0x04). The Stream Access (0x01 to 0x03) is not supported
and results in an Error Message. In addition to the Basic Identification Data the CIMS Sensor also
supports the Extended Identification Data. The Regular Identification Data are not supported and
results in an Exception Code.
