10�3 Maintenance
The control block is low maintenance when used as intended.
The service life of the control block is heavily dependent on the quality of the
hydraulic fluid. This iswhy we recommend changing thehydraulic fluid atleast
once per year orevery 2000 operating hours (whichever occurs first), orhaving
itanalyzed bythehydraulic fluid manufacturer oralaboratory todetermine its
suitability for further use.
Observe the following general rules:
From a hydraulic fluid temperature of >70°C the aging speed doubles with
every10°C of temperature increase.
The maximum permissible degree of contamination of the hydraulic fluid can be
seen in the datasheet in Chapter "Technicaldata".
Please also observe the parameters on hydraulic fluid in the machine's
instruction manual.
10�4 Repair
BoschRexroth offers a comprehensive range of services for the repair of
Rexrothcontrol blocks.
Repairs on the control block must only be performed by service centers certified
by BoschRexroth or the machine manufacturer.
