Assembly and Connection
L When using the manual programming terminal, please also note the
information relevant for operation in Section “Safety Instructions”.
L Within the functioning range of the manual programming terminal, the
operator’s view of any moving machine elements must never be ob-
structed, and he must be able to immediately operate the system’s
EMERGENCY-STOP device in the event of danger!
DANGER
Danger of life caused by EMERGENCY-STOP devices that are not
located within the operator’s reach!
The BT 6.00 HPG manual programming terminal may only be used
for machinery equipped with a permanently installed control sta-
tion and an EMERGENCY-STOP device. The EMERGENCY-STOP
device of the control station must be within reach at all times so
that it can be operated in the event of possible faults.
Therefore, it is not permitted to use extension cables between the
control station and the BT 6.00 HPG!
L Avoid installation places which are exposed to direct sunshine (reduc-
tion of display legibility; additional heat).
L Keep as far as possible away from sources of interference, however at
least 25cm.
L Do not take the manual programming terminal close to items that may be
adversely affected or destroyed by magnetic radiation.
The back side of the manual programming terminal housing is magnetic!
3.2.1 Connection
The terminal may be connected and disconnected while the timer is run-
ning. Communication with the weld timer is automatically established
upon connection.
. The BT 6.00 HPG may signal that connection to the weld timer is
not possible.
In this case, simply press the
key on the BT 6.00 HPG in order to
establish communication.

Cable length: max. 1.5 m up to control station.
Extension cords are not permitted.
