no longer be loosened by hand. Use a two-pin spanner to loosen,
never a pipe wrench.
Press the spindle lock button(6) to lock the grinding spindle(5)
in place (see figureB) or hold the grinding spindle(5) with a suit-
able spanner (see figureC). To tighten the quick-clamping
nut(3), turn the grinding disc firmly clockwise.
If the quick-clamping nut(3) has been attached correctly and is
not damaged, you can loosen it by hand by turning the knurled
ring anticlockwise.
Never loosen a tight quick-clamping nut(3) with pliers. Al-
ways use the two-pin spanner. Position the two‑pin spanner as
shown in the figure – see figureD.
