2.3 Replacing the batteries
(Typ Alkaline LR 6)
We recommend the following brands:
• UCAR - E91-AA
• VARTA - 8006
• RAYOVAC - 815IND
• TOSHIBA - LR6G.
B Check batteries regularly, to pre-
vent damage caused by leakage
B Dispose of used batteries in an envi-
ronmentally safe manner.
B Insert new batteries with poles the
correct way round.
If the batteries are about to run
out:
The display symbol flashes.
B Replace the batteries.
When batteries are spent:
Entire display flashes for a short
period. The heating is continuously on.
B Replace the batteries.

• Auto: Display shows . Heating
and economy modes controlled
automatically according to the pro-
grammed groups (P1...P6). Manual
adjustment of temperature using
/ buttons possible (new tem-
perature applies up to next pro-
grammed switching point).
• 21°C: Display shows and sys-
tem heats continuously to 21 °C.
Programmed groups (P1...P6) are
ignored.
