Product Overview
Lifestyle
®
135 Home Entertainment System
The main components of a Lifestyle
®
135 Home Entertainment System are a AV35 control console, Soundbar, and
Bass module. The AV35 control console is the same as sold with the Bose
®
Lifestyle
®
V25/35 Home Entertain-
ment Systems; repair information for the control console is covered in the AV20/35 service manual. The AV35
control console connects to the soundbar. All devices connect to the AV35 control console.
The soundbar transmits wireless audio to the bass module. The bass module pairs to the soundbar by storing the
soundbar device ID. Up to four systems can operate in close proximity. If more than four systems are used, SMB
cable part number 331731-0010 should be used to make a wired connection between the bass module and
soundbar. The wired connection will also help resolve situations where other wireless components interfere with the
wireless connection of the Bose
®
system.
CineMate
®
1 SR
The main components of a CineMate 1 SR Digital Home Theater Speaker System are a Soundbar and Bass
module.
The AUX input is not a second input. The TV audio output connects to the soundbar TV input. Other devices such
as a cable/SAT box and blu-ray player should have audio connections to the TV and also to the soundbar AUX
input. The soundbar will compare the signal at the TV input to the signal at the AUX input and chose the best
quality signal. Example, if the TV output is PCM 2.0 and the AUX input is 5.1, the soundbar will switch to the AUX
input. It will only switch to the AUX input if the signal quality is better at the AUX input and the content is identical
to the signal connected at the TV input.
®
system.
SMB cable part number 331731-0010 is 4m and is intended for use by the customer. For applications requiring a
longer wired connection, SMB to F cable part number 345328-0010 is available. Two of these cables are needed to
make a connection at the soundbar and bass module. Up to 100’ of coax cable can be used between the two
cables.
