SET UP PROCEDURES
Required Equipment / Items:
1. Microsoft
®
Windows
®
compatible PC with the following:
- Windows operating system (Windows 7 or later).
- Bose
®
ControlSpace
®
Designer software (Version 5.01 or later) download at http://pro.bose.com.
2. MSA12X as a second unit to test LVDS audio from MSA12X Master unit.
3. Audio Precision ATS-1 audio signal generator/analyzer or similar.
4. TP-LINK TL-R600VPN Gigabit Broadband Router or similar.
5. Dante Controller App and Dante Virtual Sound Card with permanent license from Audinate.com.
6. Digital music fi le or suggested VLC media player application.
7. Ethernet cables with RJ45 - qty 2.
8. LVDS cable with RJ50 - qty 1 and power cable qty 1, comes with complete unit (for 2nd MSA12X).
9. Power cables - qty 1 for master unit or unit under test.
10. Phoenix connector 3 pin - qty 1 for master unit / unit under test.
Connector Panels
11. Power connector - Use the included power cable to connect to external power, or use the power
interconnect cable to connect multiple loudspeaker units. Use the power interconnect cable that is appropriate
for your region.
12. Analog audio connection - Connect to analog audio source using the included 3-pin Euroblock connector.
13. Service Connector - For service use only. Do not insert any cables into this connector.
14. Dante Input - Supports two channels of Dante digital audio input (RJ-45).
15. Network connectivity indicator lights:
16. Expansion connection - LVDS audio and control expansion connection (RJ-50). Use when connecting
multiple MSA12X loudspeaker modules.
