Congratulations on the purchase of your new Cheese Baker!
Our products have been designed to meet the very highest standards of quality,
functionality, and design, ever since the company’s inception in 1896. For that
reason, we offer a 10 year guarantee on this product and hope you can experience
many happy and memorable moments with your Cheese Baker.
Please read the instruction manual carefully in order to get the most out of your Cheese Baker and use it
properly and safely.
USE:
The porcelain dish and lid must be cleaned before it is used for the first time (see “Cleaning” section).
Make sure that the Cheese Baker is always placed on a stable and heat-resistant surface!
The Cheese Baker is specially designed for baking cheeses such as Camembert and Brie in the oven.
Preparation times depend on the recipe. Always bake uncovered. Use the lid to cover or keep the dish
warm after preparation.
PLEASE NOTE:
always use gloves when removing the dish from the oven as it can be very hot.
Once your dish is ready, light the tea light placed in the tea light holder. Then place the baking dish with
contents on the cast iron base. Ensure that it is resting firmly on the notches on the base.
Enjoy your meal!
CLEANING:
Clean the cast iron base by wiping it down with a damp cloth. The base may not be immersed in water
or any other liquid and is not dishwasher safe. The baking dish and lid may be washed by hand or in the
dishwasher. Allowing the baking dish to soak in cold water for an hour makes cleaning easier.
Never clean with a hard bristle brush, abrasive materials, baking soda, or disinfecting or corrosive
cleaning agents.
INSTALLATION:
Place the cast iron base on a flat, stable surface in such
a way that the round ring rests on the table. Place a tea
light in the tea light holder.
Place the porcelain dish on the cast iron notches.
The notches hold the dish in the correct position.
The Cheese Baker is now ready for use.
