Warning
Correct braking operation is crucial to safe
driving. Ensure that you have your brakes regularly
inspected and serviced by a qualified distributor.
Brake adjustments
If the front brake is a disk brake, the free play of the
brake lever (measured at the lever brake) should be
between 5-10 mm.
The hydraulic brake system should be checked every
day as follows:
1. Check for leakage in the front wheel brake
system.
2. Check for any leakage or cracks in the oil pressure
pipe.
3. Check that the front brake lever has adequate
spring back force.
4. Check for wearing on the front wheel brake lining.
Caution
The wheel disk break system is a high pressure
brake. Ensure that you replace the oil pipe and
hydraulic oil within the period specified in the
maintenance schedule of this manual.
