Cleaning and lubricating the drive chain
Dirt on the drive chain may cause excessive wear on
the drive chain and the drive chain wheels. Clean the
drive chain every 1,000 km with cleaning solvent, and
lubricate it with chain lubricant or engine oil.
Tyres
Check the tyre pressure and tread pattern after the
first 1,000 km and every 3,000 km thereafter. In
addition to regular maintenance, check the air pressure
from time to time, to ensure maximum safety and a
long service life.
Tyre Pressure
Low tire pressure may cause excessive wear on the
tyres and can affect turning stability. Over inflated
tyre pressure might reduce the contact area between
the tyres and the road surface, causing the motorcycle
to lose traction and even spin out of control. As a
result, it is essential to keep the tyre pressure within
a specified limit. You should adjust the tyre pressure
when the tyres are cold.
