voltage cable.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and
turn the engine shutdown switch to
position.
Place the spark plug near the engine, and start the
engine. If the ignition system is in working order,
you should see blue sparks around the spark plug
gap. If there is no spark, contact your distributor
for repair.
Warning
After removing the spark plug, do not inspect
it near the carburettor as this could create a
fire hazard if the spark plug were to ignite the
vaporizing fuel in the cylinder.
To avoid electric shock, ensure that the metal part
of the spark plug is in contact with a paint - free,
metal part on the vehicle body.
Warning
People suffering from any kind of heart condition
should not undertake this check.
Engine Shutdown
1. Check the level of fuel in the tank.
2. Check sparks in the ignition system
3. Check the off-load operation of the engine.
Note
Before attempting any troubleshooting, it is
advisable to consult your distributor. Tampering
with the vehicle during the warranty period may
invalidate the warranty.
