Function Description:

The Braun BC03 is an alarm clock designed for everyday use, featuring both timekeeping and alarm functionalities, along with a snooze and light function. The clock operates on a single AA battery.

Power Source: 1x AA (1.5V) alkaline battery (not included, rechargeable batteries not recommended)
Snooze Duration: Approximately 4 minutes
Light Duration: Approximately 5 seconds
Guarantee: 2-year guarantee against material and workmanship defects (excluding battery). The guarantee is valid in countries where the alarm clock is officially sold. Broken or cracked lens screens are not covered.
Compliance: Conforms to EMC requirements as per council directive 2014/30/EU. Covered by the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive.

Usage Features:

Battery Installation:

Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert one AA (1.5V) battery, ensuring correct polarity as indicated by the diagram.
Replace the battery cover.

Time Setting:

Locate the "TIME SET" knob on the back of the clock.
Turn this knob in the direction of the arrow until the correct time is displayed.
Always turn the knob in the direction of the arrow to prevent damage to the clock's movement.

Alarm Setting:

Locate the "ALARM SET" knob on the back of the clock.
Turn this knob in the direction of the arrow until the desired alarm time is displayed.
Always turn the knob in the direction of the arrow to prevent damage to the clock's movement.

Alarm Function:

To set the alarm: Pull the button up via the back of the clock until the green alarm bar is visible.
To unset the alarm: Push the button down at the top of the clock until the green alarm bar is no longer visible.

Snooze Function:

When the alarm is sounding, press down on the main body of the clock. This activates the integrated "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button at the base.
The alarm will stop and sound again after approximately 4 minutes.

Light Function:

At any time, press down on the main body of the clock. This activates the integrated "SNOOZE/LIGHT" button at the base.
The dial will be illuminated for approximately 5 seconds.

Maintenance Features:

Battery Precautions:

Do not use rechargeable batteries.
Use only alkaline AA batteries of the same or equivalent type.
Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
Keep batteries away from children.
Dispose of exhausted batteries according to local legal requirements; do not dispose of them with normal household rubbish.
Avoid short-circuiting the contacts in the battery compartment and battery terminals.
Remove batteries from the unit if it will not be used for a long period to prevent over-discharging, leakage, and potential damage to the clock.
Exhausted batteries should be removed promptly from the battery compartment.

Disposal Information:

This product is covered by the WEEE directive.
It should not be discarded with normal household waste.
Take the product to your local collection centre for recycling.
