Before using the appliance, please read
the use instructions carefully and
completely and keep them for future
reference.
Braun «Face» is a facial care system
that combines two beauty treatments:
The small, precise epilation head removes
even the finest facial hairs from the roots.
The cleansing brush attachment improves
your skin’s appearance through gentle,
but deep-pore cleansing.
Important
For hygienic reasons, do not share this
appliance with other persons.
Do not use the appliance on irritated
skin.
Do not use the epilation head on
eyelashes. You may use the epilation
head for removing individual hairs
between or above the eyebrows, but
not for shaping eyebrows.
Never epilate with a damaged epilation
head.
When switched on, the appliance must
never come in contact with the hair on
your head, eyelashes, textile ribbons
etc. to prevent any danger of injury as
well as to prevent blockage or damage
to the appliance.
This product is not a toy. Keep the
device out of reach of children and pets.
Keep batteries away from children and
pets. If swallowed, consult a physician
at once. For information on treatment

This appliance is suit able for
use in bath or shower if it is used
with the brush attachment.

* Model 851 comes with 4 different
cleansing brushes: normal, sensitive,
exfoliation, sponge.
Batteries
Replace the batteries as needed: Open
the battery compartment (1) by turning
the lid towards using the brush pro-
vided. Replace the battery (AA alkaline,
1.5 V) observing correct polarity. Replace
the lid by aligning the dot with (see
fig. c) and turning turning towards to
lock it. Make sure your hands and the
appliance are dry when replacing the
battery.
Mirror: Remove foil before first use.
To replace batteries, open the battery
compartment (7b) as shown with a screw
driver. Insert 3 button cells (type LR1130)
with the + poles on top. Replace the
battery cover.
When the power decreases, replace the
batteries promptly. Replace all used
batteries at the same time. This reduces
the chance for battery leakage conditions.
Batteries may explode or leak and cause
burn injury if recharged, disposed of in
fire, mixed with a different battery type,
inserted backwards or disassembled.
If a battery leaks, wipe the device with
a damp cloth and wash hands. If any
material gets in eyes, contact a physician
immediately. Remove the batteries before
storing your appliance for extended
periods.
Facial epilation
Before use, make sure your skin and
the epilation head are thoroughly
clean.
