Initial Charging Procedure

Before use, charge the appliance. For best performance, we recommend that you always use a fully charged appliance.

The charging light (5) flashes green (+) to show that the appliance is being charged. When the battery is fully charged, the green charging light shines permanently.

Recharge Notification

When the charging light shines / flashes yellow, recharge the appliance. Reconnect it to an electrical outlet via the special cord set.

Battery Life Expectancy

A full charge provides up to 40 minutes of cordless operation time.

Optimal Charging Temperature

The best temperature range for charging, using and storing the appliance is between 15 °C and 35 °C.

How to Epilate Correctly

Make sure that the epilation head (2) is attached and provided with the High-Frequency Massage System (1).

Always stretch your skin when epilating. Make sure that the epilation area is in close contact with your skin.

Leg Epilation Method

Epilate your legs from the lower leg in an upward direction. When epilating behind the knee, keep the leg stretched out straight.

Exfoliation Brush Usage

The exfoliation brush has been developed for full body usage, especially for legs, arms and décolletage.

Exfoliation Process

Exfoliation Brush Attachment

Click the exfoliation brush (8) onto to the brush adapter (9). Click the brush adapter onto the appliance.

Exfoliation Speed Selection

A Select speed «l» for sensitive skin areas, speed «II» for normal skin.

Exfoliation Technique

B Slowly guide the exfoliation brush in circular movements over your skin to gently refine it. Avoid holding the brush on the same skin area for prolonged time.

Benefits of Regular Exfoliation

The regular use of the exfoliation brush (e.g. once a week) helps minimizing the risk of ingrown hairs: Dead skin cells are removed so that fine, re-growing hairs can easily get through to the skin surface.

Exfoliation Brush Maintenance

Cleaning the Exfoliation Brush

After use, rinse the exfoliation brush under running water. If needed, you may use some liquid soap to thoroughly clean it.

Replacing the Exfoliation Brush

With weekly use, we recommend that you replace the brush unit (8) after 12 months. Brush refills (ref. no. 79 Spa) are available from your retailer or Braun Service Centres.

Epilation Techniques

Leg Hair Removal Technique

Remove hair from your legs from bottom to top, keeping it straight.

Underarm and Sensitive Area Hair Removal

Be careful, especially when starting hair removal in these sensitive areas. With repeated use, the pain will decrease.

Optimal Hair Length for Epilation

For best results, ensure hair length is between 0.5 mm and 5 mm. If hair is longer, shave first and let it regrow to 0.5 mm.

Epilation Head Cleaning

Cleaning with Cleaning Brush

Detach the cap and brush the tweezers thoroughly with the brush dipped in alcohol, turning the tweezer element manually.

Rinsing Under Running Water

After wet use, rinse the appliance under running water. Detach the epilation head and rinse it. Shake to remove excess water.
