How to use your Braun ThermoScan
1.
To achieve accurate measurements, make sure a new, clean probe
cover (1) is in place before each measurement.
Use the following temperature taking technique:

When the probe cover is in place, the thermometer turns on auto-
matically. Wait for the ready signal beep.

Fit the probe snuggly into the ear canal, then push and release the

If the probe has been properly inserted into the ear canal during the
complete measuring process, a long beep will signal the end of the
measuring process. The thermometer detects that an accurate temper-
ature measurement has been taken. The result is shown on the display
(5).
